Planted 10/98. Approximately 0.9 meters (3 feet) tall. This bamboo has beautiful leaves. They are variegated with white raking stripes on a blue green background.

Planted 5/94. Approximately 1.2 meters (4 feet) tall. This bamboo has a tropical appearance, with leaves that are up to 40cm (15") long. Our resident squirrels like to eat the new culms of this plant.

Planted 5/93. Approximately 0.9 meters (3 feet) tall. This bamboo has dark green leaves which dry around the edges in the fall, giving the plant a very striking appearance. The plant becomes all green again when the new growth arrives in the spring and summer.
